Joseph Snider – President

Welcome to J. T. Snider Roofing, a second generation family-owned and operated business. My name is Joseph Snider and I continue a tradition and legacy that my father, Jack Snider, started back in 1985.

So who is Joseph Snider? Just an everyday guy with a dream. A dream to continue a family’s legacy, to meet and provide customers with a service that when the job is completed they can look back and say WOW, I’m glad we called Snider’s! I would welcome the opportunity to do just that for you. Now a little bit about myself…

Born and raised in Chesapeake, I have worked side by side with my father repairing and replacing shingled roofs since my earliest memories (starting when my mother did not approve of me climbing ladders or getting on roofs, shhhh!). I graduated from Hickory High School with honors in 2010. I then furthered my education taking classes at Tidewater Community College and Old Dominion University where I graduated on the Dean’s List with a degree in Business Management. I am also a Professional Engineering Technician with a structural background and hold a journeyman’s card as a Master Sheet Metal Fabricator. Most importantly, I was raised to provide customers with a quality product tailored to the needs of the homeowner in order to protect their home and investment from all of the adverse weather conditions here in Hampton Roads.

I grew up with a love for saltwater fishing, deer and duck hunting, passions that my family all share as well. When I am not around Hampton Roads, you can usually find me spending most weekends in Hatteras, North Carolina where we own a family shared cottage. A place where we love to fish, catch clams, and grill out on the sandbar together. If it has anything to do with a boat, consider me there!
